Me...........
As much abuse as I can get away with the Judas pikey loving scumbag.

He Dosent deserve to run across the grass in the Uni let alone the turf at the amex.

I hope Greer Kicks the S**t out of him all night if he plays the 2 bit pony.

He will not be playing i am going to nick the wheels from his car the night before the game, which will make him late for work and consequently he will miss the team caravan setting off for the Fortress AMEX

Ok you`ve convinced me. If you can just work on the Spurs fans and the stick they give Sol Campbell and the Man Utd fans and their reaction towards Tevez then all will be good and we can all hug each other and live as one big happy football family.

Gary Williams was swapped for Neil Smillie after losing his first team place to Sammy Nelson at left back and did not let his contract run out and then start asking for a 175% pay increase.
He came back and had his testimonial with us............................... I`ll wait for Murray`s return shall I ?

But he signed for Palace, that's the issue that people have. You ignore the fact that Gus didn't wasn't particularly arsed about signing Murray again. If Gus had wanted him we would have paid him what he wanted, it's a lot less than we are paying CMS.

To buy Murray now would cost less than cms, cms is the better and more valuable player.

Look, everyone's allowed a blind spot or two, and you know your 'oignons' more than most - but what gives on this issue? Is he a distant relative?

Take it back to basics, forget everything else, the whys and the wherefores. Glenn Murray turned his back on promoted Brighton and signed for our bitter rivals. That's it. Everything else doesn't amount to the proverbial hill of beans. He ceased to be a Brighton asset the day he left, and he became a hate figure the moment he signed for Palace.

This will provoke, on the night of September 27, about 19,000 people (real people at a live match, not 'internet spacktards') showing what they think of that, with maybe 1,000 defying every natural urge of human nature and fan-dom and trying to be 'sensible' about it.

If that is all he has to put up with for his extra loot, as you have pointed out, I'm sure he can live with it. But he is going to have to live with it for one terrible night, that's the deal.

DO YOUR DUTY as a Brighton fan. Give Murray hell.

Altogether now: 'There's only one greedy b*stard,...'

Who on here is also worried he's going to score at the Amex? And a meaningful goal as well, and not a last minute consolation one.

He'll get booed bigtime, but some people on here have short memories and have forgotten all the good things he did for the team. School / college starts next week, so all the young 'uns who blight NSC will be otherwise engaged ......

I agree with you. Of all the strikers in L1 last year I would only have swapped Murray for CMS or (perhaps) Lambert.

Personally I thought Gus should have made more effort to keep Murray, BUT Gus is usually right, he was certainly proved so in relation to Nicky Forster when he wanted a longer deal and instead offering one to El Abd.

I think you have a valid point, BUT I disagree with you that he turned his back on promoted Brighton. Gus didn't want him that much, and there lies the difference. IF we had offered him as much as Palace on a three year deal and he left then I would be f***ing livid, but we didn't, because as much as I think Murray is a cracking centre forward, Gus is looking for a different type of player..............I think.

We do have a duty to make the Amex as intimidating as possible against Palace, and I am with you on that. The comments about career ending injuries from out players in respect of him go too far IMO.

Again, stripping it back to basics, it's only a job.

What further concerns me is that the non stop booing of Scott McGleish never stopped him scoring against us!

That is true - but I suppose that's the inherent risk of big games. Happily, we're now playing for these much higher stakes. Murray scores the winner for Palace, it's a disastrous evening. We win 3-0 and he gets sent off/substituted, it's a superb night. Even with the risk of it going wrong, we'd all rather have these kinds of worries.

It's pantomime stuff.

OF COURSE he should have taken the money. OF COURSE any of us would do the same.

But he joined Palace. It's unforgivable. Irrational, but I'll be BOOOOING. Fully expect him to score as well, which will hurt, but it's the sort of thing that makes football what it is.

Wise words, don't talk to me about the irrational bit, I do some teaching at Citeh, and have a chance to see them play against Bayern in Munich that night in the Champions League, but turned it down because it clashes with Palace.

This isn't a song but you may find it interesting.

You do have some quite good businessmen down there in brighton, turns out a number of people bought season tickets with no intention of going to watch but instead to sell the ticket each week at a profit.
One of our lads has already 6 tickets in your end, and has been told he can only have them if he promising to stay neutral and has been told there are lots more available but will go to so called brighton fans for first refusal

I appreciate everything he's done for us but whilst he's a Palace player I can't respect him! Especially for being greedy.
