Somewhere in the history of NSC is a thread about how impressed I was with a delivery from America, less than 3 days, I think, for the whole transaction.

Anyway, yesterday I needed a specific tool, to work on my bike with.
From ordering to delivery it took 21 hrs 20 mins, I doubt this is a record but I'm bloody impressed with the service.

Can this be beaten?.

I ordered a camera off amazon at christmas.

Ordered at 1.30 pm on wednesday and arrived at 11am next morning.

Always impressed with Amazon delivery at the moment!

Funnily enough, it was from our club shop. Ordered about 3 or so in the afternoon and arrived first post the next day. Good work.

I do order a lot of clothes online before 1pm that arrive the next day too.

I ordered some books from amazon, they sent me an e-mail confirming dispatch at 4pm yesterday, estimated delivery time of two days through normal (free) post...they arrived by courier delivery, not Royal Mail, at about 10am today.

Amazon aren't always that good, particularly at busy times of the year, but I would back up the comments above that they are really on the ball at the moment.

Not internet but one of our business phones with T-mobile stopped working so I called to report it. Call was made at 7.30pm and was told i'd have a replacement by 9.30 the next morning and they didn't lie! Thats the sort of service we could all do with!

A colleague of mine once phoned Orange at 9pm on Xmas eve to report his phone had been smashed up. He received the replacement at 10am on Xmas day.

I can't remember the website name but I ordered a SATA hard drive cable at 4:45pm and I received it at 9am the next morning. Great thing is that the postage was only about £1!

Hmmmmm...can't say I've been that impressed with Amazon. Ordered some CDs (in stock) two weeks ago, and they haven't dispatched them yet. I wouldn't normally mind that much, but they were for my dad's 60th which was last weekend. :(

Agree with Bag, Play.com seem to be fast and reliable.

mrs starry ordered pictues from etsy seller in america they were shipping that day and arrived two mornings later. that was pretty nifty.
