First saw us win at the Goldstone in the 70s as a child and before I began to watch us as a fan. The 2 nil at the Goldstone in the mid eighties, that dented their promotion hopes was my favourite and the members cup win at theirs was a lot of fun. I can't take the stress of playing them anymore and the 5 nil was so painful that I stopped going when we play them. I reckon poogate was the only time I've been since.

12 draws
11 losses, but that’s giving them the Zenith Data win at the Goldstone.

It now appears Saturday was even more significant ️

I don't think enough is made of that 3-1. I know the scoreline on its own isn't spectacular, but to do it with only 10 men for over an hour (and 9 men for a short period during which we scored) is something special.

Seen 2 games . The 5 0 and 0 1 just before lock down . Funny I've mates who support Stoke and been to 3 games v Vale and Vale have won all 3 .
