Erasure - A Little Respect

Huge respect for doing this, a real tough one to do :bowdown:

Duet - Meatloaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Light

I love doing this if I can find a willing female participant.

I used to be a singer in a band, so I can sing a bit, I'll give pretty much anything a go. My mates always love putting me up for Horny by Mousse T, I have a track record of doing Nelly the elephant by Toy Dolls. Other than that Creep by Radiohead, Meatloaf stuff, Dakota, You're the Voice and so on.

When we had a karoke being the governor I thought that although my singing is very limited it was down to me to get the ball rolling to encourage others so either did Elvis Cant Help Falling in Love or Ned Miller King of the Road.

Used to go to the Banana Bar karaoke night years ago with friends and we would always do The Beatles Twist and Shout with me on lead vocals and 3 backing singers doing the doo whop thing. Great fun, always got a good reception. We would follow up later with the same line up for Blue Moon. Ba ba ba ba, g'dang g'dang dang.......

The key is to have a chorus that everyone can join in on. My efforts have been;

SuperTrouper
Lola
All the Young Dudes
Hit Me with Your Rythmn Stick

There was a pisshead in his fifties that performed an interesting interpretation of Renegade Master down the Connaught back in the late nineties.

Hilariously bad but they let him sing it every week.

I am a bit of an old crooner, so mostly bobby Darrin stuff. Although I do a mean version of " in my life" Beatles song. Years of choral and singing in a jazz band ...smooooooth.

Robbie - Angels is my go to sing along that most join in with.

I used to sing in a band so can have a go at most things. My friends usually stitch me up with something a bit random as well!
