Yes it certainly is and it's a life affirming image.
Thanks for the thumbs up Nibble. I really appreciate it. It's only fair I should give you a thumbs up too and it will be much deserved on it's own merits. So I'll make sure I organise that when I get a spare moment.

Breakfast is the only meal of the day that I tend to view with the same kind of traditionalised reverence that most people associate with Lunch and Dinner. I like to eat breakfast alone, and almost never before noon; anybody with a terminally jangled lifestyle needs at least one psychic anchor every twenty-four hours, and mine is breakfast. In Hong Kong, Dallas or at home — and regardless of whether or not I have been to bed — breakfast is a personal ritual that can only be properly observed alone, and in a spirit of genuine excess. The food factor should always be massive: four Bloody Marys, two grapefruits, a pot of coffee, Rangoon crepes, a half-pound of either sausage, bacon, or corned beef hash with diced chilies, a Spanish omelette or eggs Benedict, a quart of milk, a chopped lemon for random seasoning, and something like a slice of Key lime pie, two margaritas, and six lines of the best cocaine for dessert… Right, and there should also be two or three newspapers, all mail and messages, a telephone, a notebook for planning the next twenty-four hours and at least one source of good music… All of which should be dealt with outside, in the warmth of a hot sun, and preferably stone naked.

Couple of Mugs of Tea
All while reading the footie news and Talksport on in the background

1 Slice of toast
1 Portion of Home made hash brown
1 Good quality sausage
1 Bacon
1 portion of Scrambled eggs
1 small pot of beans (to lob on the toast.
1 Black Pudding

Pot of tea and an extra slice of bacon on the side just in case.

Substitute black pudding by some mushrooms and add some fried bread an I am in - some orange juice to make it healthy and voila three of your five a day and it is not even 0900.

Fried bread slice
toast, 2 slices with butter and marmalade
bacon
fried egg
sausage
black pudding
baked beans
mushrooms
maybe even some chips and a tomato with it.

and a mug of tea.

Job done.

I'm afraid you've just proved what sort of person you are.

Everything up there is perfect, then you go and RUIN it all by having beans.
Tinned tomatoes, every time.

2 x sausage
2 x bacon - crispy
bubble
fried slice
2 x fried egg - runny yolk
beans - served in a separate ramekin
tea - served in a mug that has a white inner

Mushrooms, tinned toms & black pudding all come under the heading "devils food" and should not be allowed anywhere near my breakfast plate.

I'm always slightly puzzled how people can drink tea with a fried breakfast. Eating a fry-up always makes me as hot as if I were sat in the Sahara in July with a coat on as it is. Got to be OJ or a coke for me.

At home, pick oranges from garden & squeeze them, & 2 pieces of toast with home made lemon curd. Out for breakfast, americano & tostada con tomate.

Seriously if you are suggesting tinned tomatoes you are a wrong 'un

They only thing on a breakfast plate that is acceptable to come out of a tin is Heinz baked beans
