I bloody LOVE fajita night! It's GREAT. I have chicken fajitas mostly, sometimes I just like roasted vegetables. Either way they are BRILLIO mates.

I normally have fajita night twice a week but last week I had them FOUR times. It was suggested I might soon turn into a FAJITA! I hope this isn't the case and I don't know how long I could last without smothering myself in salsa and sour cream (allow the guacamole, that shit is nasty) and taking a big bite.

FAJITAS! SI SIGNORITA!

Fajitas are bloody brillo, if you can justify the dollar on a decent bit of beef the steak fajitas are immense! Flash fried so that they're still pink in the middle (hence not using cheap steaks), sour cream, salsa, MMMMMMMM! Served with some homemade Potato Wedges it doesn't get much better! :)

Just out of interest, what mix do you use? I've tried pretty much all of them over the years and always come back to the original and best Old El Paso one?

Fajitas are indeed el pedrolicious. However I am partial to my german SAUSAGE night. A jar of german bratwurst and a jar of sauerkraut (lidl is good for something) night washed down with a Czech pilsner. Atchung bratwurst mein Herr

I'm still trying out diferent ones. At the moment I'm using the Discovery foods one which seems a bit more rounded in flavour than the Old El Paso one. IMO it's all about the salsa bringing a bit of heat too so I like it if that is nice and spicy. Every now and again I'll just so my own with chilli powder, paprika, cumin and a bit of oregano. Sometimes I'll switch up and use mayo instead if sour cream which is pretty good.

The best thing about fajitas is that they are pretty bloomin healthy.

The old el paso packet mix is the best, I use x2 packets to really zing it up. Also a jar of jalapenos to add some to the salsa is a must.

Oh and I'd also advise putting cheese in the pan so it melts and glupes it all together

I used to love fajitas until having a family drained my resources....now if we have them they have to be made with cheap chicken that tastes of misery

Yakitori. Not that I make it myself. But I think I could eat it every day. Pretty healthy AND the woman who works in my local place is gorgeous.

Yumtown.

They are all my favourite except when I'm skullduggered in which case a cheese and mushroom burger. Sunday night is also fanny munching night, after Last Of The Summer Wine but before Prime Suspect.

Right now I'm eating jelly sharks, cherry lips and jelly love hearts. 3 for a quid at Mulberrys plus a Bounty milkshake. I am hungover.
