Bloody hell - just looked up my year 1970, and what a rubbish year it was for films. If I had to pick one then it would be The Railway Children.

1962- The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner- Tom Courtney. Brilliant film, and the ending is just perfect and unexpected.
So many great movies , Lawrence of Arabia , To Kill A Mockingbird , Birdman Of Alcatraz , Cape Fear , and The Longest Day to name but a few but obviously the one that tops the lot is of course .
