The Good German
(Made last year, had the boy Clooney in it!)

Though of course Casablanca, Some Like It Hot, It's A Wonderful Life and Citizen Kane don't half stand the test of time.

read somewhere that's a myth, mainly zulu's agangst english

The main regiment was the B company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Foot: later the South Wales Borderers and now the Royal Regiment of Wales.

The 24th Foot were actually a South Warwickshire Regiment, however they were mostly Welshmen.

There were men of the Royal Artillery, Engineers, Army Service Corps, Commissariat and Medical Corps also there, some of whome had escaped the battle of Isandlwana which was the greatest single battle to be lost by the Empire against "natives".

Yes I am a nerd

also...even more nerdy.....at the end of the Film where the Zulu's were supposed to be saluting the soldiers ( who were incredibly brave let it be said), they actually called off the attack as their scouts had reported a colum of soldiers and four batteries of guns approaching ....led by Lord Chelmsford.
