With '6' as the average:

Roberts - 7 Uses all of his box and anticipates danger well. Safe hands. Excellent and fast distribution. Slight question mark over the goal but understandable why he dived late once you see the TV replays.
Watson - 5. Still struggling to get his best form back. It will come (hopefully).
Cullip 7 - Commanding and good motivator.
Hinshelwood - 6. Solid.
Mayo 6 1/2 - same old Kerry, solid. Extra half point for artistic merit, a very graceful collapse that got rid of Forbes.
Hart - 7. Less influential second half. Fabulous cross for first goal.
Carpenter - 7. Really looks the part now. Never shirks a challenge.
Rodger - 6. Quiet evening.
Jones - 6. Impresses in patches, but not a true winger.
Henderson 7 - worked really hard to help Knight. Great flick for the second goal, and some good lay-offs. Will catch the eye more against less powerful opponents than Shittu and Carlisle which, let's face it, is just about everybody.
Knight - 8. Goal poacher supreme. Outjumped Shittu once! Cheap to keep because he can wear kids' replica kits. Bobby who?

Hopefully it counts seeing as I watched it on the telly!! Thought Mayo was superb, solid at the back always looking positive and stringing passes together. And the sending off of course, but I can't give Mayo credit for it, can I?

Should have brough on McPhee near the end.

Watson was the only disappointment of last night. He just looks like he has lost all confidence and twice made mistakes that put us under pressure.

It used to be Mayo who would worry me but he has improved no end and now Watto is the weak link in defence im afraid.

Robbie Pethick football genius.
