Went on a golf trip with the landlord and they are a sound crowd. Only been a couple of times pre match day and seems ok to me

Does a fantastic cod 'n' chips on Fridays, or at least it does at lunchtime. Can't vouch for the evening.

I haven't been for a while, and have only been on non-match days. It's pretty average small pub, reasonable pub food, friendly staff. Do here it's very good on match days.
