What's the story Fikayo Tomori?

A young lad thrown into a top of the table clash through injury midway through first half. Hadn't even warmed up. He was a bit nervy but once the Manager got him in at half time, obviously settled the lad down. Good player good touches and in no way is he ''garbage'' I have a feeling in a years time people will be eating words like that as he is apparently excellent on the training pitch

FFS.

He's young.
He's inexperienced.
He was played out of position after losing our THIRD CHOICE left back to injury.

Give the kid a f**king break.

Is he actually being played out of position ? Why is Rosenior still not ready , especially as he recently completed 90mins for U23s? Played more than Kayal

The job of third choice emergency left back? Who would you replace him with?

Fifth choice.

Bong > Liam rosenior > pog > Sam > tokori

This with bells on

.....and some more bells from me. He seems to have done alright, out of position, in the second half at least. Just how good can you reasonably expect a 19 year old fourth choice left back to be? It's almost like last season in some ways - just how many top quality Championship left backs is it reasonable to expect a team to have on the books waiting on the off-chance for an occasional game? 5? 6?

I reckon he's ok.

One of our best players second half

Very solid second half.

Thread over.

didn't do anything wrong second half.

I thought he was one of our better players in the second half.

and did nothing majorly wrong in the second half.

Did very little wrong in 2nd half.

Didn't think he did anything wrong. If fact thought he made some important interceptions in the second half. What did I miss?

Crikey. I must have been watching a totally different game to you lot.

I believe his natural position is right back so, yes, tonight he was out of position.

Did we not sign him in response to Pocognoli & Bong being injured?

No, we signed him so our young RIGHT back could go out on loan.

My bad. Can't believe CH didn't sign a left back when both were injured then?

Would love to hear your reasoning? Please proceed......

1st half, gash - albeit limited gash.
2nd half, he made approximately 6 tackles/interceptions, passed 2 of them to Albion players and 4 went to the opposition.
He dragged Dunk wide and Murphy back. No one wanted to pass to him.

Any ball that was 5-10 yards away from him, he hesitates and looks to see which other Albion player is close to see who's going to go to it first, with his opponent racing for the ball behind him. Far too hesitant.

Poco wasn't injured when the window 'slammed shut'.

So we sign a RB, to loan out a RB, but happy to have no LB cover. Odd
