Does Cuckfield have a football club?

:)

In London village.
Spurs or (god forbid) the Arse are both a bus ride from the Whittington Hospital.

Thats really interesting - I grew up in Littlehampton and support Brighton - 17 miles away (nearest league club).

However, if I were to travel 17 miles from where I live now, I would find Wolves, Walsall, West Brom, Aston Villa and Birmingham. It seems the West Midlands is a hotbed of league football.

Brighton and either Queens Park Jaguars or Whitehawk (I don't know which is closer to the Royal Sussex).

I mean from Step 4 of the pyramid up

Mine is Bridlington Town

And yours would be?

Er, Bridlington Town play at Step 9 in the pyramid!

Step 4 is League 2, so the nearest team for me would be Peterborough.

But if it is the nearest team from Step 9 upwards (ie to match your Bridlington answer), then it's Ely City, currently 13th in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division.

When I talk about the Pyramid, I mean non-league, as in Step 1 is Conference National, then downwards. I had a feeling Briddie had gone below Step 4, as they've had a few problems....

So the criteria was Step 4 non-league up to the Premiership
