In the field
Finishing 6th and indeed any of the European group games. Purely because of the number from our group who travelled, and the number of other Albion acquaintances I bumped into, it would probably be Ajax away.

Beating Bolton Wanderers 3-1 for a first win upstairs in 1979. My first league match. Going nuts when the second goal went in against Liverpool in the cup match in 1984.

Stepping out onto the terraces at Marseille will forever be my 10/10 moment.

I was in the group that arrived to the stadium late (through no fault of mine) and the atmosphere was incredible.

A culmination of dreams I'd had when I was younger and never thought I'd see.

Brighton playing in Europe? Impossible surely.

Back to Back wins against Liverpool in league and cup in January 2023.

Solly March was imperious in the
League fixture. A player transformed under RDZ.

Athens, post match wandering back after being dropped by the bus at the old stadium. We took over a whole road wandering back into "central Athens" and it was just like post match of any game in the UK. It felt natural and right.
