Buxted Harbour
Fort William after I went up there

I would imagine Arthur hasn't been to Scotland :lolol:

Not so, I'm a well travelled man I'll have you know. I doubt there are many people on this board that can claim to be a honorary member of the most feared group of ultras in the British Isles....The Jags Ultras. They make those NSK berks look like....well berks!

I will say though the most unfriendly place I think I've ever been is Aberdeen. True story; I came out of my hotel, jumped in a cab and asked for him to take me to the football ground (Aberdeen were at home to Hamilton in the Jock Cup if memory recalls). The cabbie puts the handbrake on and starts messing with the meter putting it up to 3 pounds something before we've even moved. I jokingly say "Is that English tax?" cabbie just replied with "Yep" and drove off.

So when anyone tells you the further north you go the friendlier people get you can take it from me that that statement is a load of cocksnot!

Loch Ness and Inverness- Absolutley stunning part of the world, I love Scotland!

I went to visit a mate who was living up their at the time. I went to the pub with him and his highland mates and honestly couldn't understand a word they were saying unless they slowed down and spoke to me like I was a simpleton.

Spent a week in Orkney last year and loved it, although the guide at Highland Park distillery warned us that Orkney had two seasons: winter and July. We were there in August. He wasn't wrong: it was wintry enough one day that the ferry back to Scotland was suspended.

Great place, and the tour guide who took us around the prehistoric sites was from Haywards Heath, had moved up years ago and loved it. Found everyone there to be amazingly friendly, fantastic, a week wasn't long enough.

Edin- rah for rugby. Not my fault, Antipodeans said it would be a good trip. Never, ever again. Irritating posh blokes behaving like hooligans in kilts (although apparently its OK when they act like gits), Kiwis trying to tell me some egg chaser I have never heard of is bigger than George Best and sanctimonious pillocks with their even more irritating rugby loving girlfriends everywhere. It was so bad that it almost made me go completely the other way and almost miss The Event in Brighton.

Wigan, but I'm not overly well travelled. I've only ever been to 4 other countries, 1 is France and another is Wales
