Whats the best thing you have FOUND?

Found about 20-25 quid on top of a phone box (for the life of me I can't remember why I had jumped/hopped/whatever nearby to see it), the little mini shelter kind, back when I was about 12. Was a huge amount of money to a kid then. 20 quid note and a few coins.

Also found a mobile when they were very valuable compared to now, handed it in, got it back a few months later cause it was unclaimed and a really early PAYG go one so unregistered; sold it for £50!

Today, after29 years of wondering and the last six months intensive searching, I have "found" my two half brothers.

An extraordinary day for me and beats anything else I have found.

Edwardian 18ct gold diamond solitaire ring (spectacular 1ct stone) hallmarked 1908.

Silver Elizabeth I half-groat c1590.

Romano-British brooch, dolphon style, datable to 1st century AD, spring and pin still intact.

When out picking potatoes in a field years ago, I came across a couple of bronze Roman coins. They were very old as they had 47 B.C. on them

Wait a cotton-pickin' minute there boy - these coins had 47 B.C. on them?

If they were dated 'before Christ', then how did they know there was going to be a Christ?

best thing I (well my mate) found was my glasses lens at the que club Birmingham. I'm minus 5 so when that fell out at 10pm and I had to dance alnight off my f***ing box without my glasses and my mate found it 2 rooms away in a dub room at literally 7 am I was rather pleased. The bouncers thought we were scrouring the floor for drugs. Blu tack from the WHSmiths at 9, I got home. 2000 capacity club. Its true as well and wasnt even scratched!

Oh and the farmer rented the field where my mom kept her horse out for a rave back in the day, like 90, on clearing up we found a fair bit of glue in bags, and approx 300 pills in a bag

My son found 10 euros in the bottom of a swimming pool on holiday two years ago - he was 10 and thrilled. Last year on holiday, I found 5 dollars in the sea. Moral of the story: always use goggles whilst swimming.

I found a £50 note lying on the side of the road. As I was only 5 and it was christmas, my mum decided to invest it on a very nice gift for me and me only haha
