I've met Tony Poole on a few occasions. When I see him in concert, he plays 'I thought I was a child', and dedicates it to me. He is quite simply one of the nicest, most unassuming people that I've ever met. He's a leading exponent of the Rickenbacker, and owns the one that used to belong to Steve Pereguine Took, who used to be 50% of tyrannosaurus rex. Next time Tony plays in Brighton, Icy gull, we'll have to go.
