Listened to this for the first time in years today.

I loved The Cure around 1980, also mid 80’s. Then in the haze of a busy life and personal relationships, somehow I completely missed Disintegration.

Better late than ever, good old youtube’s algorithms got me to listen to this brilliant album more recently.
