Perfick meld of song & vid that never gets old. Still in love with the girl in the red stripey dress after all these years 
One of my all time faves. A john Peel session from the exciting year 1978. This transcends all the ramalamadoleQ shite that had started to pall by 78.
English post punk struggled to find a voice/accent/style..... there is something about this band that is magical and many years ahead of its time. Manicured Noise were active at this time too. And in America, MX80 Sound (aka MX80).
I take the liberty of posting the entire session. It is all worth the time.
Sadly the band came to nought. I wonder if @Tom Hark Preston Park knew them, him being 'about' at the time.

Every day I hear this song it's the best song I hear that day.
Still the most heavy, beautiful, crushing song I've ever heard. The Bulgarian folk vocals are incredible.
early start later so best go early.....
