OK, ok... not just a song, but I really enjoyed this and thought others might be interested. In it, Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth drummer) listens to Mr Brightside with the drums removed, scribbles down a few notes and then plays along with his own version...
I have my doubts that he had never heard it before, but regardless I enjoyed watching a craftsman at work (he starts playing along at 3.30):

Yes indeed, nearly all the old country singers dabbled in Rock'a'Billy. Marty was one of many, good song.
To me a good prominent double bass, crisp or slightly distorted guitar is like angels calling.

How was her voice? I saw her live more than 40 years ago (the fiasco at the New Regent).
