Don't think I've posted this one before.
Purchased this unheard from a record store when it came out purely because my name was in the title, and played it a lot back in the day. Now the backing music to Easyjet adverts.
There are no lyrics to the song, just gibberish made up words to sound American.
As a side, heard the top ten from 1975 and suddenly realised these artists would be at least 70 now.
Steve Harley sadly passed
Mud (Les Gray) sadly passed
Alvin Stardust sadly passed
Slade Noddy Holder is 78
Sparks both over 75
Gloria Gaynor is 81!
Suzi Quatro is 74
Barry Manilow 81
Roy Wood 78
Sylvia (Y Viva Espana) 79
I'm beginning to feel very old.
I’ve seen Lucinda many times over the past 20+ years. She was a hard-drinking perfectionist back in the 90s… I recall her yelling at her bandmates as a song ended… and she played it again as the encore! Since her stroke, she has hung up lead guitar and been singing with friends such as Bonnie Raitt… what an amazing songwriting duo.
