I've been obsessing a little over the soundtrack to the Beetlejuice musical. They've made some changes to the story, one notable one is that Delia (Catherine O'Hara in the movies) is Lydia's (Winona Ryder in the movie) step mother, and Lydia is morning the death of her mom while her dad has moved on. Lydia has this rocking number:
I grew up with Duane Eddy's music always on in the background as my older brother was a massive fan (still is). When I hear this track It takes me straight back to the early 1960's and trips to the travelling Fair that used to visit Buckingham Park twice a year. Johnny Walker used to use it as his opening theme tune on Radio Caroline, Duane is now 84 and still occasionally plays concerts.
