The sad death of Una Stubbs, whom I recall particularly from Til Death Do Us Part, has led me to a brief 60s focus musically. This girl could sing!
Still can't hardly make out a word of what Kevin Rowland is singing, it matters not, I love this song for the sheer energy of it and the fantastic brass section.
Well who knew I'd post this today. Sometimes I'm amazed by my own eclectic taste in music!

I had a chat about music with a youth earlier. They opined that I was perhaps willfully obscure in my musical tastes and stubbornly opposed to anything that could be perceived as popular from the last 20 years. In my defense I told him that I loved the first 'I Am Kloot' album. He looked it up ... turns out it peaked at #119 in the album chart 20 years ago and the song that I thought was a smash hit made it top #94 in the singles chart.
