That immediately takes me back to my days at Varndean, I would have been about 15. A lad brought in a copy soon after it came out and whirled around like a dervish to the piano break. Episodic memory is a wonderful thing. I even remember the lady's name after all this time and as usual, the record label

I remember watching this episode of Parkinson that this clip comes from when it was first broadcast back in 1980. Larry Adler and Itzhak Perlman hadn't rehearsed this together it was totally spontaneous. I'm a lover of George Gershwins music so I'm a bit biased, but I would like to think that anyone who likes music of any genre can appreciate the beauty of this little clip.
