Always good to hear this again.

As an aside, I know Herbie Flowers, (playing bass), has had a long career in music, but a quick search revealed some amazing facts about the bands he's been in and the collaborations he's been a part of. I mention him as I believe he lives in the BN area, if you're interested have a look at this,

Andy Partridge is a very interesting character. As noted previously I saw XTC supporting Siouxie and the Banshees at the New Regent back in the day, and jolly good they were, too.

One of those moments that you remember exactly where you were (when I first heard this)

Great intro, which I hadn’t heard before

I was playing subbuteo.

Later, played every Friday and Saturday down....The Hungry Years!

Jeff "Skunk" Baxter.

I prefer the studio version.

10CC were called the British Steely Dan.

See what you think....

(not sure if this is for today, yesterday or last Tuesday

Edit: have a live version:

Fantastic song from a brilliant album. Another great track here

I wish I could recall the name of the very attractive girl who first put me onto this - old age I guess!

Such a great band. There's a gigging band up here called Nearly Dan who do a great show, super-tight! Saw them at Band on the Wall in Manchester before lockdown.
