Bloody music. Watched Onward with the grandson who is six and wants to dance as soon as the movie music starts. My son said 'come on dad, it's your kind of music. Indeed it was as it was my current fave, Brandi Carlile. I had to get up because it brought a tear to my eye, judging by the YouTube comments, like all the others who watched the film and listened to the song. Brought a tear to my eye again as I listened while I posted dammit. I'm so soft and sentimental these days. Great film by the way.

Been a while since I heard this: Joe Pernice's voice is gorgeous. Great band, especially if you're in the mood for tuneful, weepy stuff.

I know from previous posts that Wilco are very under appreciated by NSC but what the hell, this is a thread for best song heard today (last night) by ME

Not by me they're not and by way of demonstrating my liking (and also bending the rules a bit) here are four songs from a Tiny Desk concert which will keep me quiet for 4 days and I play on the basis that I do not anticipate hearing 4 better songs over the next 4 days..................but you never know of course!

What a great find, I am a big Wilco fan and hadn’t seen that before. Thanks, it’s very Wilco. I’d love to see them live in such a small venue

Today’s song is a Billy Bragg and Wilco collaboration of putting music to Woody Guthrie lyrics that had never been recorded as a song. The Album is Mermaid Avenue and this is just one song from it

I’m still hanging on to my tickets from their cancelled show at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas in the faint hope it will be rescheduled. Constantly on my play list, along with Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo.

Great video. I love the drummer's tiny kit and appropriated stationery, and, of course, the incredible Nels Cline making quiet noise on his resonator. There is another Wilco TDC from 5 years later that is also really good.
