I have always loved military bands and they don't come much better than The Central Band of the Royal Airforce. I bought this album when it came out in 1990 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Battle of Britain and as we've just had the 90th Anniversary I thought it would be apt to post one of my favourite tunes from it. Out of the Blue is an RAF March but most people will know it as the theme tune to BBC Radio's Sports Report, the worlds longest running sports programme.
