Someone already mentioned but Barnes vs Exeter last year was brilliant. Travelling 4 odd hours in early January and to nick the points so late on with everyone going mad behind the goal. One of the best away games last year

Bridcutt was by far the craziest I have ever gone at a last minute winner. It was immense, and I knew at that moment we were indestructible.

As soon as I saw this thread I just thought Wilkins!
It has to be, if anyone says anything else its because you weren't there in 1991.
I was there. Virgs was better. So there.

Not the real one
I was there. Virgs was better. So there.

I was at both too. Thats whats so great about football, its all to do with opinions. For me the Wilkins goal was miles better because it was a higher standard of football (remember it was to get into the old division one), it had all the drama of the 7-8 minutes while Johnny Byrne was injured, it was the last kick of the game almost, it restarted after about 5 mins as the pitch invasion had to be cleared and then ref blew straight away. The real reason for me is that it was just the sheer quality of the goal, a magnificent free kick! Virgo's was quality and an unbelieveable moment but as it was more of a lunge and the ball bounced up into the roof of the net it doesn't quite beat Wilkins. I'll probably get killed for saying this but also because it was the Pens that one that game, Virgs was just an equaliser and not a game winner.

Over to you mate......

Being a young albion fan I havent experienced many however: Both of these for the running track celebrations, strangers were hugging each other and the way you could mental down there was quality.

Will it come down, yes it will, Bridcutt left footed, WHAT A VOLLEY, ITS THE STUFF OF CHAMPIONS ITS THE STUFF OF DREAMS, IN THE 3RD MINUTE OF INJURY TIME, A LEFT FOOTED VOLLEY FROM LIAM BRIDCUTT HAS SURELY, SURELY WON IT FOR THE SEAGULLS.

Can they win it here at the death albion, bennett swings in onto the penalty spot, right footed against the crossbar! off the post, AND LASHED INTO THE BACK OF THE NET. AND ITS FRAN SANDAZAAAAAAA ON HIS HOME DEBUT IN THE FIFTH MINUTE OF INJURY TIME, BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION 2 OLDHAM 1 SURELY THE SEAGULLS GO TOP OF THE LEAGUE.

And of course Buckley at the Doncaster game.
