What's the best last gasp goal the Albion have ever scored?

Has to be between Wilkins and Virgo considering their importance (got us to play offs / pens for a place the play-off final). Exactly how late was Wilkins free-kick - 90th minute, added on time? Virgs was in the 122nd minute I think. You can't get much later than that!

Barnsley fans were on the pitch at Oakwell celebrating them making the play-offs when Wilkins stepped up to take that free-kick.

Half a second later, they weren't in the play-offs anymore.

Kenny Beamish

It probably has to be Buckley v Doncaster.

But before that Kenny Beamish scoring the winner in the penultimate home game of the season (Promotion season 1971/72) in the 7 minute of injury time (as it was called then).

He ran through from half way line and smashed it passed the Rotherham keeper from about 10 yards outside the box. Phew!

hands down Buckley v donny. first league game ever at our new home. 98th minute!!!! doesnt get much better!

briddcutt v carlisle was special last year because they scored a minute before to equalise.

Virgo's was also special.

they're my top 3 anyway!

Buckley v Doncaster made grown men cry - that moment will never be beaten for me.

Of the ones not mentioned, it has to be Bas Savage away at Hartlepool. A stupid long journey, arctic cold weather and then a couple of hand balls, bobbles off the knee and shin, and SMASH - the crowd going mental

That was pretty special. There was a bit of needle in that game from memory aswell which made it even more enjoyable.

For me, I still get shivers thinking about Will Buckley's 98th minute winner against Donny at our first game in the Amex..

For me also, it was so important not to lose our first home league at the Amex.

Dean Wilkins last minute free kick winner to put us into the play offs and the best completely mental surge/mayhem I ever remember in the old North Stand. End of thread.

Not all that important result-wise, but very dramatic:

Home to Sunderland at the Goldstone late 1970's, 1-0 down and into injury time. Eric Potts scored twice in 2 minutes to win 2-1! Anyone else remember it?
