Whats the best hotel in london

This isn't bad if you don't want to spend a fortune, need somewhere central (Baker Street is the nearest tube, 5 minutes walk to Oxford street) and you want something better than a Travelodge. Last time I stayed it was £80 for a double with breakfast. Nice enough although the room was pokey with a view of the fire escape.

Me and my girlfriend are going away for the weekend in london we want the be near the the likes of the london eye and the tate modern and i was just wondering if anyone could recommmed any decent ones.

For the London eye and the tate modern the Marriot County Hall would be a good choice. Its on westminster bridge road right next to the london eye and with goodviews of the thames and the houses of parliment.
