Now that takes me back to the days when I used to go to the Goldstone with my Dad. We'd park up in Shirley Drive or Wilbury Avenue, and it was always coming on just as we got in the car to go home.

I had no idea ITV used the same theme tune for Saint & Greavsie as they did for Mexico 86, I consider myself fixtured.

And they're talking about the Albion in that episode brief clip of the crumbling Goldstone terraces

I think Mark Knopfler grew up local to that area, not sure if he's a fan or not. The film was set in Scotland so it's not that.

Blimey! I remember 'The Match' - and their 'innovation' of sticking a camera in the goal net...

wouldn't consider it the greatest, but the Beijing Olympics BBC theme really sticks in my head. Seeing as it was done by the guys who made the Gorillaz. Not the greatest of all time, but still pretty memorable. In fact, we should have made them done the 2012 olympics, then we wouldn't have two metallic blobs as mascots.

Made my spine tingle when I walked into the London Marathon expo in 2007 and heard this.

It was my first time, so really made me feel it was real after all the months of training.

Back in 80's I bought a BBC LP with loads of sporting themes on it.
