Abysmal every single game, but so is every PL ground so we're not special.

Goodison last week... I don't think an atmosphere can actually be worse than that place. They literally don't sing anything (and are always really shit when they come down here too)

Palace , two seasons ago and no desire to return ,I could see the writing on wall after Poyet departure, the whole experience is gash, plenty have jacked it in to be replaced with Barbers target customers

The NS seems to be 80% blokes between 18 and 60, Brighton working class accents, not a loafer in sight.

But half of them seem more interested in downing pints, including during a 25 minute unofficial half time, and chatting with mates, little interest in the football. Loads missed the Brighton goal today.

Swindon, but used to be Manila
We in the ESU take it in turn to buy Werthers and pass them around,,,,,my favourites are the minty ones !!
One old fella today ( must be at least 75) tried to give me a fist bump...but im having none of that young stuff, pulled my hand away and put it back under my blanket.

I’m in N1F. First twenty-odd minutes were excellent today, then it went down a couple of notches. Sometimes noisy; sometimes a bit of a library, mostly somewhere in between, but only one shhhhh, which I suppose is something.

People around me are pretty good and always try to keep things going. A handful of “cheerleaders” (for want of a better word) do a great job of starting chants. One bloke does sterling service, bawling “blue and white” (“barmy army”) for minutes on end.

If the rest of the ground was like the North it would be amazing, but it’s hard to sing when you’re sitting down and I know a lot of the “new fans” would sit in stony silence and make those who want to join in feel self-conscious.

The villa fans were very quiet for long spells of the game. The odd loud chant. They were nothing special at all. We're much louder away from home, certainly more consistent at least.

Silly old bat
Wont improve ,Barbers customer experience has killed it, Women, kids and OAP's seem to be the order of the day at the Amex

Kids at football, whatever next? How do they learn to be fans?
Women don’t ruin the atmosphere you muppet. Women have been going to football for as long as there has been games.
OAPs kept this club going twenty years ago when we nearly died. People who went to the Goldstone in the 50s & 60s are now pensioners, but according to you shouldn’t go any more.

You’re the drop out, not them. They still pay to support the team.

First half they were quiet as we played them off the park. Pin drop.

Second half their team and fans smelt blood as we came out an absolute a shower of shite. Then they started renditions of their copied from Liverpool chant.

Away fans often seem noisier in modern football ... 3,000 pissed up diehard travellers, forcibly bunched together in one section. When we play well away eg Watford and Arsenal, we dominated noise levels.

Made me chuckle when they started that...way above their station

Only 2 chants, too. The Liverpool one and that holtenders in the sky one. Was surprised how poor they were for away fans of a big club at such an important game
