It's 41. The order of operations is given by BIDMAS: brackets, indices, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction. The only exception is that when written as a fraction, the top and bottom must be worked out before the division, e.g. 4 + 6 all over 2 + 3 will equal 2. I used to be Maths teacher.

I have changed my mind. ( The first hypothesis was Jnr. Skippers, who costs his Mother at least £15,000 in school fees. To be fair he wasn't paying full attention , as he was worried that his copy of Skyrim hasn't arrived. :facepalm: ) BODMAS doesn't work without brackets with this sort of equation, so multiplication takes precedent. 41.

BODMAS does work. It has M before A, so multiplication before addition. I would say zero zeros is zero, although I'm not sure how to prove it.

therefore 1 = 2

which is just pointless trickery anyway, both sides equal 0, so the conclusion should be "therefore 0 = 0" (i realise you probably know this).
