I went to one of those new-style 'sports' shops. I asked for some cricket boots, from the look of disgust on the sales assistant's face, anyone would think I'd asked for a blow-job.

I've never seen a sports shop with so little sporting gear.

I can't remember now. It was either All Sport or JD Sports - it was crap whatever it was.

Over here we still have sports shops that *don't sell tracksuits*. They're usually privately owned, though

We have JJB and JD though, chav central

Also, trainers are crap... get stopped from going into pubs, get your feet pretty wet it it rains. Skater shoes all the way - DC or Osiris...
