[Albion] What's going on at the Argus Sub Editors desk?

I stopped reading the Argus online (mainly for Albion-related stuff) a couple of years ago, simply because of the endless pop-up ads all over the page, and as soon as you 'deleted' one ad, another immediately appeared. Hence the article or report I was trying to read was repeatedly obscured or 'moved' to make space for another ad or video.

Ironic - online media relies on advertising revenue, but the volume of ads is probably driving potential or former customers away, so their ads will reach a diminishing audience. Capitalism and the free-market destroying itself!

For the same reason, I'm on Facebook much less these days - endless annoying adverts and 'recommended short reels' (usually inane TikTok videos featuring talentless attention-seeking morons) cluttering up my 'feed'. Oh, plus Mark Zuckerberg is an odious ****.

I suspect this was written from a starting point of a press release or scheduled interview

The angle is driven by the foundation. If the journalist doesnt have the background they wont ask questions on it.

Many people wont know that BHAs 1st education through football session was run at falmer high school and was designed by andy schofield who went on to be head at varndean and was delivered by a team including club employees /directors and members of the falmer for all group.
That's almost certainly the case. But some people still think that someone who is part of a low-paid skeleton staff and probably under severe pressure from above to keep feeding the online machine should be 'shot' for not adding in – let alone knowing – a relatively minor detail that probably wouldn't add much to the overall piece and instead look like it was shoehorned in.

What a time to be alive!
