When Yeovil sacked him, they couldn't tell anyone why. Which was strange, after 4 straight wins. Friday, they claimed that he had been subject to the club's disciplinary procedure from November 2008 until Februrary, when the decision was made that he'd commited gross misconduct, so they sacked him. But until the compensation package was agreed, they couldn't speak about the case. Presumably, now he's found alternative employment, they are legally able to speak about it. It does seem very strange though, the timing of it was no accident, trying to distract him!
From what I can tell, as I said yesterday, he applied for the job at Huddersfield in November without Yeovil's permission. Yeovil have gone and issued this weird statement and now won't answer any calls about it. They're mentalists.
This isn't new news. Before we signed him their chairman was reported as saying "if the fans knew what I knew they would understand why he left, but I'm not allowed to say anything."
The real question has always been, what did he do. I can't believe Dick wouldn't have phoned Yeovil chairman to at least ask.
