My wardrobe isn't big enough to contain a pagan and a wild animal at the same time.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
How dare you look in my wardrobe. How did you get in to my house without me knowing? When was this? What I have in my wardrobe IS my business, but none of yours.

I'm still trying to put my IKEA wardrobe together, so the lion has escaped

Which IKEA model did you get, the Aslån or the Tumnus?

They were in the wardrobe. It is clearly stated.

Hence, on the assumption that they should, as is evidenced from previous historical accounts, be in said county, the question is asked.

Around what? Around 55 years dead, I think you'll find.

(or has he been resurrected like Aslan?)

Yep, should have said "was." In my mind his books keep him alive in our thoughts.

Essential childhood reading, practically child abuse not to be given the set by Grandparents etc. Treasured memories :)

How come an animal as big as an elephant can end up in wardrobes, fridges and even cars ? I mean they are generally huge animals.
They even got into Groucho Marx’s pyjamas.
