I tried Crawley once & discovered I could spend the whole day walking around like a giant because everyone is under 5 1/2 feet tall. Strange place

Went there on my stag night in the seventies.
Wore my brand new wedding suit £30.00 quid--------------the bus back dropped me off in the pouring rain somewhere near the Harvester in London Road.
I had a flat opposite The Station Hotel pub(Preston Park Station) two miles away.
My suit shrunk and I only just got into it two days later
