Ok....just say we come 6th and Leeds say 8th but Leeds get some or all their points back and we end up 7th after this....do you think Dick Knight and the board will take legal action....bet the league are dreading this...

Imagine how pissed off we would be if the above came true:angry:

I f***ing hate Leeds ......

I hope we would take legal action. Leeds were just taking advantage of the system last season and they're deduction was deserved. Obviously this wasn't a concern for them when they were 'storming' the league.

Leeds did start this legal action immediately, not just now that their form has gone pear-shaped.

Even so, if it did happen I hope DK would take direct action. Burn down Elland Road, perhaps?

I would hope we would start legal action. However I would not want them risking money that was for Falmer. Falmer is more important and there is always next year for making play offs. Would be different if we finished 2nd and then ended up 3rd due to the points coming back.

Any legal action started by just ONE club would be seen for what it is ... self-serving - and no better than the action that Leeds United are pursuing.

I don't want the Albion to be seen as the team that is disrupting the proper organisation of league football in England, by handing decisions about promotion to a bunch of lawyers and judges.

The FOOTBALL LEAGUE should be considering an appropriate response to the outcome of the Leeds case. And that should be a COLLECTIVE response, agreed by ALL clubs (or, failing that, a majority of clubs).

we should petition for the dismismal of Leeds from the leauge and possibly the dissolution of the league. frankly if they cant govern themsleves and prevent such shams they we need to start freash.

Timing would be a key issue. There wouldn't be long enough between the final game of the season and the first play off semi final leg to conduct legal action would there?

I can't imagine they'd let anyone delay the play offs

If leeds win even 1 point back, never mind 15, on the basis that the Football league created a precedence, then the whole of the Football League Clubs should group together financially, and take the Football league to court, to have the precedence of Leeds being given their Golden share back, and have this decision revoked.
This would leave Leeeds out of the football league...........which is exactly where their club should be, after their refusal to accept their bloody incredible good fortune, and treating the rest of us like c nuts.
That goes for their fans as well as their owners.

I would guess most of league 1 would start legal action against the FL.
I would also guess the teams that came down from the Championship would do the same if Leeds went up.

The problem with that is, history (West ham/ Sheffield United last season) shows us that the Board of Directors at most clubs dont give a toss, unless it affects them. All the other clubs in the premiership backed off last season when it wasn,t their club that got relegated by the cheating West Ham.
I believe the same will happen with Leeds too. It will leave the poor club who lose out to the scum of Leeds in the play-offs, to fight alone.............which of course they wont be able to. do financially.
Result..............the scum of Leeds, (and in particular, anyone, who helps their cheating cause) will win.
