Rock star, but without any of the naughty stuff or excesses - purely for the satisfaction of being able to do something creative successfully. Always fancied being a bass guitarist - like Jack Bruce.
Ollie Murs. Then I could be BOTH!
The drummer from Coldplay has it good.Neither.
I remember telling my daughter at the age of about 12 when she wanted to be rich and famous, that the real secret is to become rich and not famous. I have played football for 55 years and music for 50 years. Had some brilliant times and great experiences doing both and have had the pleasure to play with some very talented people who became really good mates, although in my experience you can play music of an increasing standard far longer than you can football.
But fame ? Not for me thanks, happy to do it for fun [emoji106]
Difficult question, I played double bass in a band aged 19-22 but preferred just being at a gig, and not having the stress of a gig, staying sober(ish)
Football, I played for the school team and kept Russell Beadsmore out the team for a few games, but I was nowhere near as good as him.
Music means more to me than football if I had to choose, I’ve made far more friends and traveled around the world, having said that to have the talent required to be a professional footballer and play for your hometown club, if that’s the case….
