In one person's case, they used that amount of money to buy the 'last ever' bag of Woolies Pic N' Mix, bagged up and put on eBay by a former Woolies manager.

The money, in fairness, is going to charity, but that has to be a serious case of more money than sense on the buyer's part.

By the end, Pic N Mix was supplied by a company called Candy King anyways, so it wasn't even "Woolies" Pic N Mix as it used to be.

Not really a case of more money than sense if the money is for charity. People regularly spend / bid / donate sums like that.

Spunk it ALL on watching Spurs around the Country/Europe. Might keep £2-3,000 for driving lessons.

£14,500 is not a life changing amount of money. I'd probably upgrade my car, or get a damn fine set of custom made golf clubs and go travelling. Oh, and stick some of it in my betfair account. One day my selections will all come good and I'll win big. One day...

Pay off a chunk of my mortgage...or maybe even invest it in banking shares, they are bound to go up again eventually, now is the time to take the risk and make a killing when bank stocks rise again.
