If Desert Island Discs is a kind of a soundtrack to your life, to talk about on the radio (and not necessarily your favourite bands or songs), I'd choose these:

Rock On - David Essex
Driver's Seat - Sniff n the Tears
One Step Beyond - Madness
I Go To Sleep - The Pretenders
Jazzie's Groove - Soul II Soul
Street Spirit (Fade Out) - Radiohead
Summer Moved On - a-ha
Mirrorball - Elbow

It was indeed and very good live.

I saw them live when they just started out, can't remember the exact date but they played in Brighton Polytechnic in Lewes Road.
We met the band in the afternoon and saw the sound check and met the band, I'm sure they gave us free tickets to the gig.

I was too young the 1st time round in 81 ,but saw them when they reformed in 05 at The Borderline Club in front of around 200 people including Mark Lamaar who was a top bloke to have a chat with. Saw them in again 08 in Camden when they were promoting their 2nd album called and another thing which is well worth finding. Sadly a few of the band members fell out and probably never play together again .
