I sometimes think he must be on a constant wind up. Who knows

Winds himself up more than the rest of us. Probably in turmoil that Potter can't be sacked after we managed to avoid defeat against Arsenal at the weekend (and what a result that was!). I see he's ditched his admiration for strong women in favour of all-out Boris-Brexit. Talk about nailing all your hopes and ideals, via your NSC identity, to dead shite

Really not looking forward to it.

I’m used to having the house to myself each and every day from 9am - 3pm. When the schools are shut I’ll have to share it.

Just hope I remember to not fire up Pornhub several times a day.

Not worried about myself, really worried about my old Duchess, she lives alone and she’ll really suffer with loneliness... things are about to get real...

Luckily with my job I can still trade online but business levels and income is inevitably going to collapse.

I think I will work as best as I can, take the pup out for 5 mile walks he needs daily until I am too unwell to do that and have a contingency plan in place the kennels will collect him for x weeks and months if needed and look after him. Being single this will hit hard

Then I will just watch about 100 films I have on dvd and not watched yet and just live a day at a time and fight the fcker as best as I can

What will you do ?
I think you may have missed the bit about self isolation meaning NOT taking the dog for a walk!

???

I live in a fairly rural spot and went for a 4 mile walk across the fields this afternoon and encountered the total sum of zero people. I always encounter the total sum of zero people. If I end up in self isolation, why shouldn't I continue to do this? Where's the harm in walking footpaths through deserted fields and woodland?

There isn’t.

I thought you'd already been warned about your behaviour in the day room at the Community Centre?

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Annoyingly, i was placed on sick-watch last week at work, for too many days off in the last year. I am now not feeling wonderful, and Meade Jr's nursery emailed us today to say that one of their staff is now in isolation, so it might be best to lock myself and kin away for a week. I am hopeful that work will not send me to a tribunal thanks to government-enforced sick leave.
If off for the week i'll need to one of a unit that entertains a 2 year old, and intermittently disappear to recover and watch some flicks on Mubi - i am halfway through a French war film at the minute (Army of Shadows) which is pretty darn good, and directed by someone who was in the shadow army.

Am waiting to see whether the isolation applies to all MPs, House of Lords and Royals over 70. Don't want to see any special cases.

It could even affect TV Stations presenting Live News Programmes. What then. Where do we get public information ?

Virologists interviewed this weekend said the opposite. Going out for fresh air is completely fine, just don’t mix closely with others.

As the 2 week Easter canaries holiday was inadvertently canned by the tour operator after the Spanish lockdown.......

No worries, fresh air, free from crowds or close contact with others......... booked the Norfolk Broads, will take shed loads of food and beers and maybe a few bog rolls! Got to still live, a holiday that fits the covid19 criteria + Norfolk/Suffolk has hardly any cases yet. Probably fall in and drown :D
