Optimistic at the thought of the size of the investment but, at heart, still would prefer the club to be more widely owned, genuinely involving the supporters and in terms of its day to day running, be run as efficiently as possible rather than dependant on the wealth of one individal.

It does look like fantastic news for the club - but I'm still sad to see Dick go...

Sad. Slightly concerned that the 'one individual will never own the club' rule seems to have been well and truly smashed - although in fairness it was always a little anachronistic for most progessive clubs in the 21st century. l'm also concerned that the Falmer costs seem to have doubled overnight, not sure why that is?

However it was a necessary change. We've all known for a while know that the Blooms were the real power behind the throne, and to hear Knight saying "I" this and "me" that was a bit like hearing Gordon Brown's press secretary trying to pass himself off as the prime minister.

Would like to see the maths behind it and hope that Dick gets suitably recognised when the time comes. I'm sure he would have loved to have held out for a little longer but it was always a case of when rather than if the Blooms came forward from the shadows...............

I think the poll options are all a bit negative, its not that Dicks left the club, Im sure we will still hear his dulcit tones now and again and although its not a perfect scenario its a bloody darn sight better than most clubs news bulletins are gonna be this summer, i.e administrations, etc. And to have an interest free loan in effect, for however long it is, is bloody great news.

im pleased because last ear there was a power struggle between Knight and The Blooms, now there is one person in charge again which is great news. Also the club wont be shackled by the cost of Falmer on the contrary it will boost our revenue, i hope it all turns out well. Im just old enough to remember everything Dick Knight did and for that he will always be a hero.
