1. Half-time fag in the bogs

2. proximity of my seat to Gullys girls

3. Being told to "wind my neck in" by a copper at Witton station for daring to make a joke

In the shadow of Seaford Head
The sheer number of us at Oxford Sevices on the way up and seeing Harty there

The noise

Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying the day

The mass coach exit with police escort and going on the wrong side of the road and roundabouts. Our driver was in second heaven.

How soon is now?
Parking at the Ruskin and wondering how long it'd take to get out of there at half 5, but it didn't matter as we took a wrong turn out of Villa Park, got a bit lost and didn't roll back there til gone 6, by which time it was empty.

A good carvery at Banbury services on the way back.

But most importantly, being able to stand throughout the whole game - bloody great!!

Meeting a couple of very decent Albion chaps on the train.

The 3 occasions that a ‘friendly’ palace fan approached us in the Bull Ring pub attempting to start some banter. We all totally blanked him with absolute disgust each time. Not even worth a f*** off. You're not worth that palace.

People queuing for hours to buy me beers and chips whilst I lorded it.

Hanging Buzzer’s giant Uruguay flag (badly) in a Villa pub window.

Stealing sweets from young children.

Being proud to be Albion.

In my bungalow
One of the things that stick in my mind from saturday, was the gent and two ladies that were working the burger van outside the away supporters end. They were scousers. They ladies were taking the money and putting the various foods together and the guy was up to his neck in handing out tays of chips.
When he handed me mine, he turned to the ladies and in a real high pitched and loud scouse accent he said "The burgers are burnt to f***.
It was so funny i nearly pissed myself.

Wish i was going tomorrow night.

WSU, just below the seagull.
On the way to the ground as everyone was slowly walking along, this Villa fan (trying to catch up with his mates) trips up the kerb, manages to keep upright for about 10 yards then just falls flat on his face. He got up very sheepishly & embarrassed. Was bloody funny though.

coming away from the ground knowing we did our best and for the 1st time in bloody years didnt want to ring the samaritans after another defeat. The result didnt really matter after a day like that, and i have never felt that way before very strange,i even bought the lady friend flowers, texaco garage flowers, but flowers nontheless.

That is a great photo.

I think just watching us play the ball on the deck. It was such a pleasure.

I did enjoy Ashley Young running at McNulty - I have never seen anyone run backwards so fast.

And Villa Park. A proper ground.

In London village.
Getting on a bus back into town because it was the one Canning was on. Not quite sure what led me to believe he knew which bus to get but it got me there.

You not realising there were loads of us on the top deck was quite amusing as well.
