What was your personal highlight from sunday?

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Zaha doing his usual fifty stepovers, keeping the ball and refusing to pass it to his team mates, before being absolutely (and legitimately) cleaned out by Gordon Greer who evidently decided he'd had enough of watching the fannying around.

So many things to enjoy

1. All three goals involved beautiful football.
2. The full house going mental
3. Parr's run and epic fail
4. The two blokes in the east stand lower hamming it up to the does your boyfriend know your here and giving it large to a load of Del boys and Rodneys in the away end was hilarious
5. Pawson turns out to be a quality ref after all
6. Holloway's spending the whole game sitting with a blanket on his knees (just a bit wally with the brolly) and his new coat gets wrecked in the rain
7. Zaha being owned and turning out to be very ordinary
8. Phillips having about two touches all game and putting one straight out of play
9. Murray getting "accidently" headbutted by Ulloa
10. Seeing the players celebrate as passionately as the fans even those only on loan were giving large

All this and much much more ended a perfect day. So glad I made the long trip down for this one.

Watching from the warm interior of the Amex the scum supporters going home in pouring rain, soaked to the skin, quiet as lambs, clearly in a state of shock. Oh - and the match!

Singing at half time in the concourses was very amusing. Oh Spanish Dave...

The atmosphere in the WSU throught the second half and the whole ground was brilliant. ESL really laying into the Palace fans was also very amusing.

Singing in the NS after the game.

and all round joy and drunkeness.

The performace of the team wasnt to shabby either.

All of it, just all of it! What a day!

3-0 win at home to CPFC, watching a Grand Prix when I got home (too lazy to get up to watch it live), and a take-away curry for tea....(if Carlsberg did Sundays) :)

Just so many.

But I hope whoever edits the pre-game video goal montage is already hard at work. We need all three of the goals worked in there before Charlton. Several times each. In fact, just forget all the others.

Drinking in the WSU after the game just as SkySports showed all the goals, and listening to the massive cheers when each one went in.

For me it was after the third goal, as I celebrated my 6 yr old son jumped in my arms and was just screaming and whooping with joy my other lad and his mate were hugging each other and going mental and seeing my two lads enjoying thrashing palace in a derby and seeing what it meant to everyone was fantastic. My sons mate used to be a man utd 'fan' but he is converted now and saved from that plastic hell, he wears his Albion shirt with pride now and is a season ticket holder!

Finding it difficult to single out a personal highlight.

I think everything, atmosphere after the first half was brilliant. And who ever started the "We scored 3, you scored none. You're a bunch of ****ing scum" is brilliant, about time we got our own one rather than listening to "Brighton take it up the bum".

Ulloa is going to be something special next season.

3rd goal. The absolute knowledge that we had that Croydon lot in our pocket and that there was no way back for them.

I enjoyed it all. The best chant of the day was "You burned down your town, you burned down your town, you silly *******s, you burned down your town"

Personally Calderon at the end fist punching in front of the North. Love the fella. Showed his passion. Looked nervous during the game itself but his commitment was second to none and he exemplified the fact that the players had learned from last year about exactly what this game meant.

This!! f-ing love calde.

Seeing rows and rows of fans all stand up for the "Stand up if you hate Palace" chant.

When we got the second everyone in the ESU going "Who are ya? Who are ya?" at Palace, even the kids and grannies lol

Personal favourite though was in the first half when Zaha got the ball in midfield and started sprinting. Bridgie just put the afterburners on, made up a few yards on him and robbed him. Welcome to a Premiership defender and your future on the bench.

Undoubtably the moment virtually everyone in the east stand stood up to sing 'we hate palace'... never thought I would see the east sing!! Wonderful... and Lua Lua's wonderful defending summed up a great 'team' performance for me.
