He left out Bennett, and kept Gardner in. Says it all really.

Given we had two other Villa players who started the game it's probably a fair distance from the truth.
EB has lost a yard of pace following his knee injury. It's quite depressing to watch
Bennett was awful tonight and should have been taken off at half time.

Bad yes, but where was he playing. Seemed to start behind bent then moved to the right and then played behind Bruno.

Bruno thrives on his 'give and go's' with the player in front of him. His link up with Buckley was a joy to watch at times. Him and EB might as well be on a different pitch. Solly and Bruno likewise. There is nothing there. Three more players who have regressed hugely under the current coaches.
Completely agree and just shows what a numpty hyppia is not to select one of our most potent attacking threats in a must win game.
