OK so here's round two for you. The chaps from Brighton Bier are opening their second brew pub in the city, taking over the Jury's Out on Edward Street. But before it was given that terrible name, what was the pub known as?
It was indeed the Bricklayer's Arms.
I believe there was a pub in the area known as the Hanover Arms (not the pub on Queen's Park Road now known as The Hanover) which is sometimes mistaken for The Greys, but has since been pulled down (correct me if I'm wrong though)

Sticking in Hanover/Queens Park, as well as the aforementioned Walmer Castle there is also the Dover Castle, on Southover Street. BUT did you know there used to be another castle named pub close by, on Islingword Street? Name that pub
I'm pleased they're successful enough to open a second pub. Good location as well given Brewdog is around the corner.
Arundel Castle. Had to cheat on that one.

Eastern Rd used to have a fair few good pubs Inc eastern, great eastern etc and then into Edward Street that I read recently had 20 pubs on it once
