Not what I last googled but I was having a conversation with somebody recently about our brains and the knowledge it absorbs.
Do you think the human brain is retaining more information in the present day, due to the easy access to information, compared to pre Internet when the only comparable source of information was libraries, newspapers and later on television?

I reckon we could absorb more back then. Most of our information now is easy to get so just as easy to forget too. Back in the day you had to remember it, no such thing as Google to help you out.

And also the more information you have access to, the more you forget so the ratio was much higher then..
