Last week from my local charity shop:

Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
Zappa/Beefheart/Mothers - Bongo Fury
Can - Tago-Mago (bit of a rarity this one!)
Yes - Yesterdays
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (with 2 x posters in mint order)
The Clash - The Clash
The Clash - Sandinista!
The Doors - Absolutely Live
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee - Walk On

Nice little haul although the sleeve spines on some looked like a dog had been gnawing on them. Some for listening, some for eBaying :)

'In Brighton'/'Goldstone Rap' from ebay.

I have two of these bought from boot sales...

One signed by M. Robinson, S. Gatting and G. Stevens

The other signed by M. Robinson, S. Gatting and S. Foster...

Apparently some players did a signing in a record shop when it came out. At the present rate I'm finding them, I should have them all by 2056 :jester:

Which charity shop do you go in ? I haven't found anything decent from a charity shop for about 20 yrs. (well not cheap anyway)

Blimey, that's a pretty good haul. I lent someone my copy of Hot Rats and can't remember - anyhow it's long gone.

Tago-Mago is one of the finest rock albums ever - mine's looking decidedly tatty but it still gets played.

The last bit of vinyl I bought was a Ghanaian record - Asante Kotoko by Pat Thomas. I'd been looking for it for years and tracked it down online. Best football record ever made (AK being the name of a team in Ghana and the song is a hymn of praise to them).

Finally got hold of Jump Around 12" by The House of Pain for A$18, brand new and sealed - pack it up pack it in....... I know there's heaps of them on ebay in the UK but the postage out here makes it over $20 every time and that's my ceiling for a 12" single, not that I buy many nowadays....
