Does Terry Garoghan's Last Ever Brighton The Musical count?

Yes, that's perfectly acceptable. As for the rest of you, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I can't believe any of you even know the offside rule.

I think the last stage musical I went to see was the rocky horror show in brighton back in 2010. It was great. I also saw it back in 97/98 ish. I've also seen Wicked (twice great), Oliver (very good), From a Jack to a king (good), Blues Brothers official tribute (three or four times now), Jerry Springer opera (great), joseph and his amazing technicolour raincoat back in the 80s, the phantom of the opera (very good)

I've seen the musical concert of les mis (both the 10 year anniversary version at the albert hall and the 25thanniversary version at the o2 and really enjoyed them both and am really looking forward to the movie version. Not seen the play yet (though suspect I may be going soon)

My wife asked me to escort her to Kiss Me Kate at Chichester and then Singing in the Rain in London.

Both excellent and yes approx. 40% of audiences were hetero men, who all seemed to enjoy them.

Les Miserables a couple of months ago. I was really looking forward to it because I love the songs, little did I realise that EVERY SINGLE f***ing WORD is sung, it's quite irritating after a while and prevented me from getting attached or emotional.
Lion King and War Horse however are both fantastic and nearly had me in tears.

Billy Elliott for the wife's birthday and it was great. Also went to see the Phantom in january and that was brilliant, I could really see what the fuss was about. Other than that the only musicals I get to see are operas managed to get a ticket to see Siegfried at the ROH recently and it was fabulous, the big Bryn was on magnificent form.

EVERY other musical is WRONG.

This thread reminded me of one of my favourite Roger's Profanisaurous euphemisms. "He likes a good musical".
